Peter R. Thompson, Group President of K. Hovnanian Homes is responsible for the company's homebuilding operations in six states and the District of Columbia. He joined the company in January of 2010.

Mr. Thompson's homebuilding career spans over 25 years. He spent the majority of his career at MDC/Richmond American Homes in such diverse markets as Colorado, Phoenix and Virginia.
His roles at Richmond American included serving as Virginia Division President and Mid-Atlantic Regional President. He also served as President of National Homebuilding Operations where he
led 11 of their operating companies across the Mid-Atlantic, Florida, Texas, and Illinois in additon to managing the corporate national purchasing and home gallery departments.

Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Washington University School of Law (St. Louis, MO).
